Why NOW is the perfect time to plant the seeds of a fantastic new business in 2025
We hear it all the time: “The lawn care business goes quiet in the winter” or “There’s no point doing anything until Spring”.
This might sound very sensible unless you understand a bit more about what goes into starting a new business and how Lawnkeeper operates. For starters, as a Lawnkeeper franchisee you will be able to offer year-round treatments, so you’ll never be short of work once you’ve built your customer base up.
However, early Spring is very much THE perfect time to start a new lawn care business as it is the best time to find new customers and be sure of having plenty to do once next winter rolls around.
WHICH IS WHY YOU NEED TO TAKE STEPS NOW TO LAUNCH YOUR NEW LAWN CARE BUSINESS IN EARLY SPRING 2025.
Like all good things in life, a successful new business doesn’t just happen overnight, and a Lawnkeeper franchise is no exception. Here is some more info about everything that goes into ensuring you have the best chance for success:
Initial Call/Zoom Meeting – Approx 4 weeks
Let’s say you enquire about your own Lawnkeeper franchise today. You’ll receive some detailed information from me and will want to take your time to go through it properly before we have a call. We might have that initial call a week later and then you will probably want to have another call when we can go through things in more depth – especially the finances and other fine details of the opportunity.
Speaking to franchisees – 2 weeks
By now, you will have a pretty good handle on how things work at Lawnkeeper, and you’ll be keen to speak to some existing franchisees to see how it’s worked out for them. For all the right reasons, Lawnkeeper franchisees are pretty busy people, so it might take a little while for them to fit you into their schedule.
Sourcing finance and a vehicle – approx. 3.5 months
Things are now looking good, and you will have learnt just how busy existing Lawnkeeper franchisees are and how their businesses are continuing to grow year-on-year. So, now it’s getting serious and you have decided you definitely want in. At this point, you will want to start going through the details of the franchise agreement and start looking at how you will raise the finances.
Then, you need to think about sourcing your van. You’ll want to shop around for the best, so this might take a couple of months.
Assuming everything runs smoothly, we’re already looking at around 5 months from the date of your first enquiry. Believe me, it will be well worth it, it’s just a question of preparation. After this, you can expect to attend training and get your new business getting started fairly quickly.
ACT NOW!
If you want to start your new lawn care business in March 2025, track back the 5 months needed to make it happen, and that means you need to start the process in October – which starts next week!
If you think Lawnkeeper is the business for you, schedule a call with me using the button below and we can get the ball rolling. Obviously, there’s still no obligation to take things any further, but at least you’ll be making sure you won’t miss out.
